The Planning Pens are a set of fineliners designed to support a thoughtful, deliberate approach to floor plan drawing. Each pen has a specific role, allowing you to work with consistent line weights and a clear visual hierarchy.
Use the fineliners on their own with a sketchpad to explore ideas freely, or combine them with PLANORA’s cut-out furniture pieces. The range of nib sizes makes it easy to distinguish between walls, openings, furniture, and fine details as your plan evolves.

The Room and Garden Planners are the core tools, with Kitchen and Bathroom Planners for closer detail — each comes with gridboards, furniture, and building pieces. Add-ons like extra Furniture, People, Building Elements, or Sketchpads extend what's possible.
02 — Place and explore
Move pieces freely. Test and compare layouts
Place scale furniture and building pieces directly onto the magnetic board. Rearrange, rotate, test different layouts — all without commitment. The magnetic surface keeps pieces where you put them.
03 — Expand your surface
Gridboards connect like a puzzle
Each planner includes two gridboards. Connect them to create a bigger surface. Add a second pair for larger homes or projects. The puzzle connection keeps everything aligned.
04 — Draw, sketch, or both
Use the Sketchpad alongside your pieces
Prefer to draw your own walls? Place furniture pieces directly onto a hand-drawn Sketchpad plan. Use the Planning Pens for clean, scaled drawings. The Sketchpad works with or without the gridboards.

For the scale of most home projects, it's a small investment — and reusable for the next. Mistakes caught late, during the build or after, can be expensive to fix, so planning things through properly from the start is always cheaper than rebuilding later. And it's simple: you just open the box and start planning — no software, no tutorials. It's also easy to do together — gather your family or friends around the table and shape your home as a team.
Lay out your grid boards and start placing pieces. A natural starting point is building the walls first, then adding windows, doors, and furniture.
Each product is built around a different use — the Room Planner for interiors, the Garden Planner for outdoor spaces, the Kitchen and Bathroom Planners for detailed close-up work, and the add-ons for extending any layout.
It means 1 cm on the board represents 50 cm (1:50) or 25 cm (1:25) in real life — two standard architectural scales. All components in the kits are proportioned to match, making it easy to plan and visualise spaces accurately.
Yes. Print or draw your floor plan to the same scale as your Planora product (1:50 or 1:25) and place the pieces directly on top.
Each gridboard represents 133 m² (9.5 × 14 m) at 1:50 scale, or 31.5 m² (7 × 4.5 m) at 1:25 scale. Every planner set includes two gridboards — connect them for a larger surface.
